Bespoke Opulence Construction Management (BOCM) is a Florida State Certified General Contractor operating in Florida and New York City, as an Owner Representative role. The title of Owner Representative is also known as Construction Manager. Our focus is to help home owners, developers, and investment groups in producing the best product and return for investment of time and budget. BOCM is your advocate in the construction industry, instead of operating as a standard GC that may or may not be aligned with your interest. By having resources and expertise looking out for your interest, your end goal is reached with better results.
When does it make sense to hire us? Either A or B.
A. You purchased a new home build from any developer and you are living remotely or you have no time to tend to the construction process. You need to have close interaction with the job site, and well versed industry communication to hold the builder accountable. You are looking for an ON DEMAND, Part time involvement.
B. You are spending OVER two to three million dollars in a new construction, or you are undergoing a renovation on your own with a similar budget. You can be at any stage of your project, and you are in need of help to manage the process. It can be a simple audit or you are looking for some advise, or you may need a full on staff management to see the project to completion. You are looking for a CONTRACT based representation.

BOCM will hire directly, or indirectly the qualified professionals to accomplish your project. Unlike a General Contractor, BOCM will source Attorney, Financing, Architect, Consultants, General Contractor, Furniture, and even Cleaning Service. Have the ability to scale up or down the required staff to tend to your project.

Professional Experience
Sherwood has over 25 years of experience in Construction, having built over 100 million dollars in construction projects with complete orchestration. With a degree in Architecture from NYIT, from working with Architects then transforming into Construction Management, Sherwood has been involved in all phases of projects. This has given him the expertise to manage from financing to design, to engineering, to construction, to completion. He also has experience in structural engineering and mechanical engineering, bringing a unique layer of knowledge to some very specialized projects. Energy conservation, environmental, photovoltaic and solar thermal strategies are in the backdrop of every project. Financial responsibility to keep costs under control and transparency in budgets is prime for keeping the project within expectation and workable with financing.
Architectural functionality, and design aesthetics are controlled and metered through consultants as the project evolves in design and construction. Sherwood works closely with all consultants to ensure the project is properly adhered to desired result and efficient function.
Every project is personal and gets the ultimate care and attention. This allows the Owner of the property to be involved in the project as much or as minimal as desired. Every project is different and has its own challenges that requires innovative approaches with preventive research. Sherwood has copious experience in creating scenarios on financial, design and construction projections to properly guide the outcome of the project.
Dealing directly with high profile clientele, there are systems and formulas in place for maintaining confidentiality and ensuring their construction project is immaculately handled. Sherwood has completed major renovations, very specialized renovations, and new home construction.
